PLAY TOGETHER. COUCH TOGETHER.

Who we are

We're Shortsleeve—a small indie studio on a mission to create unforgettable couch co-op games.

Inspired by the legendary experiences of 90s console gaming, we're dedicated to building entertaining and satisfying games that bring friends together on the same screen.

While our roots are in console gaming, we're excited about cloud-native games with a focus on supporting and evolving the co-op gaming genre for everyone who enjoys sharing the couch, screen and snacks.

She also leads the studio’s outreach, partnerships, and community initiatives, fostering a welcoming space around the spooky, co-op worlds the team creates.

Our Gaming Roots

We didn’t grow up online — we grew up on the couch. Back then, multiplayer meant sharing a screen, swapping controllers, and trash-talking with your best friend beside you. That era shaped us — and it’s why we build couch co-op games today.

Games That Had Split-Screen (And Our Hearts)

  • Medal of Honor: Rising Sun — Campaign co-op perfection
  • Gran Turismo 4 — Late-night racing duels
  • Tony Hawk’s Underground 2 — Trick battles and skatepark chaos
  • Crash Team Racing — Karting battles that ended friendships
  • Jet Moto 2 — Hoverbike madness at breakneck speed
  • Mario 64 — Best memories ever
  • Mario Party — Full of mini-games (and even pops playing)—yes, please!

Games We Wished Had Split-Screen

  • Sly Cooper — Imagine stealthing side-by-side as the whole gang
  • Metal Gear Solid (PS1) — Tactical espionage tag-team? Yes, please
  • Skyrim — Exploring Tamriel together would've been epic
  • Sonic Adventure 2 — More co-op, less time trials!
  • Silent Hill — Spooky survival horror—co-op chills and thrills? Sign us up!
  • NHL Hockey '93 — Sure, it had 2-player, but imagine *true* co-op seasons

A two-person indie team

We love playing games together—and we’re just crazy enough to think we can make them too. We’re pumped to see this through, no matter how challenging it gets.

We underatnd making games is hard work—there’s art, there’s technical stuff, and yes, a lot of late nights. But we’re all in.

Right now, we’re deep in development on our first project—a retro-inspired hockey game—while planning for two more games that will bring even more local multiplayer excitement to players.

Our Values

Play Together

We believe games are better shared. Whether it's two controllers or four, everything we build encourages connection through co-op play.

Creative Freedom

We're not here to copy trends. We're here to invent, experiment, and bring ideas to life with style and heart.

Cloud-Native by Design

Our games are built on cloud-first infrastructure — because scale, performance, and innovation shouldn’t get in the way of fun.

Our Games

Game 1

Hockey, eh!

It's 3-on-3 …monsters. Our hockey/horror game blends the fast-paced fun of classic sports games with online multiplayer mayhem. Form your team, face off against the undead, and prove who really owns the rink — before something in the dark does.

Game 2

The Alley Job

A stealthy co-op platformer inspired by Sly Cooper, where two street-smart city animals pull off clever heists across rooftops, alleys, and apartments. One distracts, the other sneaks — teamwork, timing, and slick getaway plans are key.

Game 3

Bug Gate

A co-op action game inspired by Medal of Honor — but starring a squad of brave bugs defending their neighbourhood from a ruthless tyrant. Fight side by side across flowerpots, alleyways, and backyard battlefields to take back their tiny world.
